Activation stop kilometer Skoda: immediately after installing the device, Mode 1 is activated by default.
The device “filters” up to 80% of the mileage or stops the mileage Skoda counter completely (depends on the mode selected). There are 5 modes, that are designed for different ECUs.
Modes:
Mode 1—Speedometer works / 75% of mileage is filtered (e.g. 100 miles will be counted as 25).
Mode 2—Speedometer works / 80% of mileage is filtered (e.g. 100 miles will be counted as 20).
Mode 3—Speedometer does not work / 100% of mileage is filtered (e.g. 100 miles will be counted as 0).
Mode 4—Turn OFF (everything comes back to normal).
Modes are switched successively. To switch a mode, you need to press and hold the "back" button on the left side of the steering wheel for 10 seconds.
On some VAG models for Skoda you need to press the “OK” button on the right side of the steering wheel (looks like a small “wheel” switch), or the lower button “OK/Reset” button on the right wiper lever.
Successful mode switching is confirmed by the flashing of a hazard light.
Note: the device stops all VAG vehicles from counting the distance to the next oil change (the service counter is stopped).
