Mileage Stopper for MINI: information regarding the installation and operation.
All MINI cars are similar to the BMW F-series in regards to electronic equipment, thus all these cars have a device similar to the BMW F-series;
The mileage filter for MINI works on all models manufactured from 2015 till present. The devices stop the mileage counter completely or “filter” up to 90% of the mileage (depends on the car's Dashboard model, selected Mode, and ECU firmware).
✔️ Installing the Mileage Stopper device on any MINI model is simple. If you want to, you can do it on your own.
✔️ All electronic units (ECU included) will display the same mileage information;
✔️ Removing the filter will not affect the current data.
ACTIVATION
Most of the devices come pre-activated upon the install. If you installed the device and mileage continues to go up, please refer to the "Modes" section below.
MODES
To switch a mode, press and hold the "BC" button on the left control lever either for 5 or 10 seconds. Modes are switched successively. Mode switching is confirmed by the flashing of a hazard light.
1 — (for Dashboards 6WA and 6WB, 2010-2019): Speedometer works normally / Mileage is stopped completely.
NB: This mode only works with vehicles that are not updated with 2019 ECU firmware.
2 — (for Dashboards 6WA and 6WB, 2010-2019): Speedometer works normally / Mileage is filtered at 90% (e.g. 100 miles will be counted as 10).
3 — (for Dashboards S6U3A): Speedometer works at 50% (e.g. 100 MPH will be shown as 50) / Mileage is filtered at 50% (e.g. 100 miles will be counted as 50).
4 — (for Dashboards S6U3A): Speedometer works at 25% (e.g. 100 MPH will be shown as 25) / Mileage is filtered at 75% (e.g. 100 miles will be counted as 25).
5 — (for Dashboards S6U3A): Speedometer works at 10% (e.g. 100 MPH will be shown as 10) / Mileage is filtered at 90% (e.g. 100 miles will be counted as 10).
6 — (for Dashboards S6U3A): Speedometer does not work / Mileage is completely stopped.
7 — Switch OFF (everything comes back to normal).
