What is the mileage filter for freezing mileage count and how does it function?
The odometer block device is the most modern way to work with odometer readings.
A few years ago, a new device, the mileage filter (or mileage blocker) was created. The principle of its functioning is to directly block data from reaching the odometer. And since the car's electronic system reads mileage information from the odometer, it will relay the same information to all the remaining blocks.
The data in the transmission, engine, headlights, airbags, ABS, etc. will reflect the same data.
How does the mileage filter (sometimes referred to as a mileage freezer) work?
Freezing your mileage using the mileage filter is very easy.
The device is installed behind the dashboard.
The entire installation process is easy to perform. It does not require any soldering or wire cutting and can be done in less than 30 minutes.
The activation and deactivation of the mileage filter are done using the standard buttons found on the steering wheel. This way, you can quickly and easily manage the mileage blocker by yourself when you need it.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
If the mileage filter is not activated, the diagnostic equipment (Including the equipment used by the dealerships) not able to detect it.
